Uplifting History 2025 Capital Campaign

The Schuyler County Historical Society hopes to raise $300,000 to complete the Accessibility for All! Renovation and historic preservation project. The planned changes will provide full access to the second floor with an elevator, expanded exhibit spaces, a new archive room, and workspaces.

According to the Executive Director of Museums, Heather O’Grady-Evans, “this is a once in 100 year opportunity for an organization such as this to guarantee the longevity, success, and opportunities for the next century of Schuyler County residents and visitors.” Funds will be raised through a combination of support from individual donors, businesses, and foundations. “Our community has a dedicated history of generous support to our organization, and we will be looking to our entire community to complete the campaign. To date, we have full board participation and raised over $100,000,” O’Grady-Evans said.
